An Alert can be set up to alert for special account notations, such as cash only or late-paying customer. Once these alerts are set up in Setup System, you can select the appropriate Alert Code on the Account screen.
New Alert
- Select Setup System on the main menu..
- Select the Defaults tab.
- To the right of the alert box, click New
- Type the code (can be up to 20 characters).
- Select alert color.
- Select Pop up if you want to alert to pop up when you enter the account screen.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
Edit Alert
- Select Setup System on the main menu..
- Select the Defaults tab.
- To the right of the alert box, click Edit
- Type the code (can be up to 20 characters).
- Select alert color.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
Delete Alert
- Select Setup System on the main menu..
- Select the Defaults tab.
- Highlight the code.
- Click Delete.
- “Do you want to delete code?” Click Yes or No.
Add Alert to Account
- Select the Account tab on the main menu..
- Double click on an account name.
- Use the pull down to select the alert.
