Disable Credit Card Edit (Only V 5.7)

You can select a box that would disable viewing any credit card information. You would always be able to process credit cards, but would never again have access to any of the numbers. This would be part of your database, so even if you uninstalled DanceWorks and reinstalled or installed it on another computer, you would not see the numbers.

If a customer changed credit cards or expiration dates, the entire credit card number would need to be entered in again.
  • Open DanceWorks with user name ADMIN and the admin password.
  • Go to Setup System.
  • Choose the Credit Card tab.
  • Check the box for Disable Credit Card Edit.
  • If you want to continue, select Yes.
  • From this point forward, you cannot either edit the credit card or view the credit card number.
  • Only the last four digits will show.
  • This should be done in each session.
  • This process cannot be reversed so proceed with caution..
